Sorry, all of my vectored characters feature the same clothes they did in the original scan. >.<;; I'm not very good at "making stuff from scratch" so I can't really help you. Though if you really wanted to create an outfit you could always just find scans with the "pieces" and vector them together.

Honestly, I've never found any good tutorial on illustrator. The forum that I learn vectoring with Illustrator is gone, so I can't help you here. Sowwy! And as for that, I'm sure that PS is much easier.. I've done both, fully made in PS and fully made in Illustrator, and in my opinion, using PS is much easier.(XD)
